The XD555 is a single-chip timing circuit ™ process timer made using Tl LinCMOS that is fully compatible with CMOS, TTL and MOS logic and operates at frequencies up to 2 MHz due to its high input impedance. The device uses a smaller timing capacitor than that used by the 555NE, so more precise delay and oscillation can be achieved. Low power consumption across the entire supply voltage range.
● Very low power consumption - typical value of 1 mW when V-DD=5V
● Able to operate in stable mode
● CMOS output can swing rail to rail
● High output current capability - Receiver 100 mA typical value - Power supply 10 mA typical value
● Outputs are fully compatible with CMOS, TTL and MOS
● Low supply current reduces spikes during output conversion
● Single power operation from 2V to 15V
● Functionally interchangeable with 555NE
